Birmingham-based specialist accountancy firm Salhan Accountants is hosting a free Business Expo designed to give business owners an expert insight into some of the key issues affecting the commercial world.
The event takes place at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, at 75 Harborne Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, on Tuesday, 10 June, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
The morning will feature a panel of expert speakers, who will each share their specialist knowledge of their respective field.
Madan Salhan, managing director of Salhan Accountants, will throw the spotlight on tax investigations and what business owners need to know should they find themselves on HM Revenue and Customs’ radar, while fellow director Dr Anjulika Salhan will discuss the benefits of financial outsourcing.
Meanwhile, Donna Martin, of law firm Mackrell Turner Garrett Solicitors, will talk about employment law and how businesses can avoid falling foul of ever-changing legislation.
Jeff Gorman, of M B Smith & Co Ltd, will be explaining auto-enrolment, while Satwinder Chahal, of Salhan Accountants, will talk about Real-Time Information.
Raising finance, which is still a major issue for many smaller businesses, will be the topic of a presentation by Alison Bradley of Central Finance and Martin Edmonds of Aston Reinvestment Trust.
Dr Anjulika Salhan said: “We understand that it can be difficult to run a business and keep up to date with ever-changing rules and regulations. Our free Business Expo is an ideal opportunity for business owners across all sectors to get a comprehensive brief on the key issues affecting them.
“Those attending will also be able to have their questions answered by our panel of experts. We expect demand to be high, so we would advise people to book their places as soon as possible.”
