Preet Gill, MP for Birmingham Edgbaston, is to help one of the city’s leading independent accountancy firms with the launch of its new service aimed specifically at the region’s fast-growing small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
To launch Salhan Connect – the ingenious new service – the firm will be holding a special inauguration event at their offices within the landmark 54 Hagley Road complex on 9 February 2018.
Developed using the practice’s own extensive experience of working with small business, Salhan Connect focuses on providing useful advice and insights to companies in the most cost-effective and efficient manner through the use of the latest online accountancy software and 24-hour support.
With different packages available to sole traders, micro businesses and other small firms, the service is designed to be tailored around each company’s individual requirements, whether they need assistance with bookkeeping or help with payroll – representing a significant break from more traditional, rigid forms of accounting.
Ms Gill, a proud supporter of the region’s businesses, will have the honour of addressing guests during the opening of the event and will be one of a number of speakers discussing the importance of SMEs to the local economy.
Dr Anjulika Salhan, Director at Salhan Accountants, said: “Modern small businesses require a service that is accessible all day, every day and provides exactly the level of support that they require at a cost that they can realistically afford.
“Having spoken to small businesses for a number of years we realised that many were calling out for a more up to date and simple solution, which is what Salhan Connect delivers.”
The inauguration day will also be an opportunity for guests to visit the firm’s new office on the 3rd floor of 54 Hagley, which was recently acquired by the firm to facilitate the rapid growth of the practice.
“We would like to thank those who are joining us on the day, including Preet Gill MP, to launch this fantastic new service and we would encourage businesses to learn more about the opportunities it affords,” added Anjulika.
