Kirsty McGregor, Founder of The Corporate Finance Network and The Association of Crowdfunding Experts, had the following to say:
- The UK of 2036 won’t look much different whether we vote in June to remain or leave.
- Feels the UK will have recovered from a ‘long and drawn out’ recession by then,
- She has faith in our entrepreneurial nation to rebuild itself without the support of the European Union.
- Feels voting to leave will be turbulent for business and economy over the next five years.
- Legal, regulatory and economic ties with Brussels can’t be unravelled within two years.
- Older generation of business owners will struggle and worry from the impact of stocks shares and value of the Pound Sterling, upon leaving the EU.
- Believes the younger generation of business owners will undoubtedly still prosper and will find ways to take advantage of the situation, creating new products and find new trending markets.
