Birmingham-based specialist chartered accountancy firm Salhan Accountants is celebrating yet more awards success after being shortlisted for this year’s British Accountancy Awards.
The firm has been named as a finalist in the Independent Firm of the Year (Midlands) category. The awards are organised by leading accountancy magazine Accountancy Age.
To reach this stage of the competition, Salhan Accountants had to submit an application highlighting factors such as its achievements, successes, client care policy and innovative business practices.
The firm will learn if it has been successful at a ceremony which takes place at The Pavilion at the Tower of London on 20 November.
Managing Director Madan Salhan said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious national award, which recognises the very best that Britain’s accountancy profession has to offer.
“This shortlisting is a testament to the hard work of everyone at Salhan Accountants. Without their dedication, we would not be where we are today.”
The shortlisting is the latest in a string of awards successes for Salhan Accountants, which includes being named Business of the Year at the Institute of Asian Businesses (IAB) Awards in November 2012, winning Entrepreneur of the Year at the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Group Business Awards in April 2012, and being highly commended in the Best General Tax Practice category at the 2011 Taxation Awards, recognised as a gold standard of excellence within the tax sector.
