Salhan Accountants was founded by Madan and Anjulika Salhan with a vision of delivering outstanding accounting services at competitive prices. Madan’s background was as a tax expert with decades of experience, and Anjulika was a senior mathematician who understood how technology was poised to shape the future of the financial sector.
Combining their talents, Anjulika and Madan have taken us from a start-up practice to a major accountancy and fintech player for the SME market – winning numerous awards for both our service and our systems along the way.
The Here & Now: Innovating for SMEs
Since 2002, we’ve grown to a large team and developed a reputation as digital pioneers for SMEs – constantly developing for new ways to use technology to streamline your financial and accounting processes. We’ve truly become accountants and fintechs in one.
Our flagship solution is Xpert Technologies – an SME accounting software suite that’s free to our clients. From accounts management and analytics to leave management, Xpert Technologies delivers slick processes and business agility without the expensive licence fees.
Another milestone innovation is U-Deliver, a specialist accounting and tax software for the logistics sector, which we launched in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. Designed to make life easier for drivers and driver agencies – at a time when they were instrumental to the functioning of our nation – we think of U-Deliver as our contribution to the pandemic national effort.
The Future: Expansion That’s True to Our Roots
Looking to the future, our vision is to boost our service for SMEs even further.
We’ll do this by expanding the tech we offer at Xpert Technologies – bringing you more features and analytics that streamline your business and save you money. Plus, we’re expanding geographically, too – empowering SMEs throughout the UK and beyond to benefit from our services.
We’re also looking to acquire other accountancy businesses, finding technology-driven ways to enhance client services while taking care of staff and maintaining their legacy.
Whatever the future holds, we’ll stay true to our ethos of bringing cutting-edge technology to SMEs at affordable prices – while expanding sustainably in a way that works for clients and employees.
